A-INFO is a non-governmental organization established and registered in Akhalkalaki, Samtskhe-Javakheti region of Georgia, in 2002.
Dedicated to the advancement of the rule of law and the development of civil society in Georgia, A-INFO provides news about developments mainly in the Samtskhe-Djavakheti region.
The original news reports are filed in Armenian, and provided, free of charge, to the Armenian language media in Georgia and abroad.
Lack of funds thus far have made it impossible for A-INFO to have it's news reports translated into Georgian, English and Russian and distributed regularly. A-INFO is in search of partners, sponsors and/or donors to have its news reports ditributed in several languages, convinced that lack of reliable information from the Samtskhe-Javakheti region is one of the reasons for the problems the population of the region faces.
